12. *Dhajjanāth*. This panth, the sixth of the old Gorakhnāthī list, is associated with the name of Mahābīr (Hanumān). At Ṭilla, and in two of the lists, this is counted as one of the twelve sub-sects. The statements that the members of this sub-sect carry a flag, and that some of them are found at Peshāwar and Ambāla are not accepted at Ṭilla. It is asserted that they are to be found in Ceylon.¹
