On hearing these words, she gave away everything belonging to her, restored the caitya and constructed twenty-four temples, Posatha-houses, charitable institutions and reading rooms. This shrine was named Śakunikā Vihāra after her. After her death, she, too, attained the abode of Īśāna on the fifth holy day in the month of Vaiśākha.
