Dharmapāla seems to have written a work on Vyākaraṇa (or Grammar). Aiyaswami Sastri identifies it as the Śabdavidyāsaṃyuktaśāstra in 25,000 ślokas. The Chinese title is Sheng ming za lun, and Tillemans finds Sastri's reconstruction "rather improbable".
