¹ The end of the rainy season was celebrated acc. to later sources Bhādrapada sudi 5, and tradition referring to the Jiṇacariya (JACOBI, Kalpasūtra p. 114 ff.) calls it an exceptional event that Kālaka (§ 24) antedated this celebration by one day. Comp. also § 213.
