¹ Saddhammasamgaham. Geiger says " to make a compilation of the true doctrine ". But in Dpvs. saṃgaha is used all through in the sense of " council ". Buddhaghosa (Vin. com., 61), who paraphrases Mhvs., speaks only of saṃgīti.
