(ii) In *Rūpāvacara*, the world of form, the senses of taste, smell, and touch are absent. It includes four abodes, the (*a*) Brahmā-world (which later is subdivided into four) ; (*b*) the Ābhāsvara gods ; (*c*) the Śubhakṛtsnas, the wholly bright gods, and (*d*) the Asamjñisattvas, beings without perception. Further subdivisions are also found.
