Sayyid Nuru'l Asfiyah (c. 1800 A. D.) was born at Aurangabad. He lived for a considerable time with Nawab ali Khān at Karnal and later on shifted to Hyderabad and joined the service under Nawab Shamesu'ul Umara. He wrote *Risālah-i-Nuru'l Ḥisāb*, a treatise on arithmetic. The manuscript is available in the State Central Library, Hyderabad.
