Rāmakṛṣṇa was the son of Lakṣmīdāsa and grandson of Nṛsiṃha. His *Bījaprabodha*, commentary on the *Bījagaṇita* of Bhāskara II and *Gaṇitāmṛtalaharī*, a commentary on the *Līlāvatī* of Bhāskara II are similar to Ranganātha's work.
