The *Karaṇapaddhati* gives no proof of these series. These series also appear in the *Tantrasaṃgraha* (1465-1545 A.D.) without proof to which Whish already drew attention.¹ The proof of all these can be found in the *Yuktibhāṣā*, an exposition of Nīlakaṇṭha's *Tantrasaṃgraha*.
