At Wandalli some of the old workings were 100-150 ft (30.48- 45.72 m) long, 20 ft (6.096) wide and as much as 15 ft (4.5 72 m) deep. The old workings were reached at a depth of 380 ft (115.82 m) in No 3 shift.
