Excavation in the DK area of section G in Mohenjo-daro conclusively proves that copper and bronze items and castings were manufactured from the Indian ores such as oxide and sulphide ores of copper, lollingite (containing arsenic etc.). Argentiferous lead ore and alluvial washings of tin ore (cassiterite) also must have been processed.
