Yuktivyapāsraya: Treatment of diseases by the employment of reason viz. clinical examination (*Parīkṣā*), diagnosis (*Nidāna*) and employment of drugs, prescriptions of diet etc. in terms of the basic doctrines of Ayurveda viz. *Pañca Mahābhuta*, *Tridoṣa* etc. is called Yukti Vyapāsraya Cikitsā.
