Harappa: The town extended over a circuit of 6 km on the left bank of Ravi. The site is now in Punjab province of Pakistan. It has been identified with Rgvedic Hari-Yupiya by Wheeler. There is a lower town and a citadel in the shape of a parallelogram (Vats, 1941).
