Lead, which may have come from Ajmer or from silver mines of Afghanistan or Persia, does not seem to have been widely used. A lamp of it, which may have served as net-sinker, was found in L area and a small lead ornament with a disc of faience was found in VS area, but these are the only pieces recovered. (MS-I, 30)
