A number of broken pieces of agate have been cemented together in a chalcedony matrix. This is a rare material. The only other beads made from it that have been found up to now are from Mohenjo-Daro; probably the material for both the Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro beads comes from the same place. (MSV, 400)
