In the previous chapters we have recorded different aspects of material civilizations as found in the chalcolithic cultures of India. Before we proceed to discuss the Iron Age in the sub-continent, we may summarise and critically evaluate the different aspects of the use of copper in ancient India, which of course continued in the Iron Age.
