We have reported earlier Lothal brass containing 6.04 per cent zinc (chapter 6) and Atrañjikhera bronze-brass containing 16.20 per cent zinc and 20.72 per cent tin (chapter 11) which must have been obtained by the cementation process. The vase sample No. 28 in Table 14.7 however assays much more that the critical 28 per cent in zinc. We may quote Craddock's (1981: 16) comment on this particular sample:
