The Greek influence on the Indian use of minerals and metals continued through occasional incursions into India and technical collaborations. Yavaneśvara’s Greek book on astrology and minerals (~150 AD) was translated as Yavanajātaka in Sanskrit by Sphujidvaja (~ AD 270).
