Forty-five lead coins were recovered from Nagara by Mehta (1968); similar coins from the identical Kṣatrapa era (2nd-4th century AD) stratigraphy had been recovered by Mehta from Vadnagar (1955) Shamalaji and Devnimori (1966). The last site yielded silver coins also.
