Sajjī maṭṭi is the name of the crude mixture of sodium salts lixiviated out of *reh* and concentrated, and sold for making soap, glass, detergents etc. Typical compositions of *reh*, *sajjī maṭṭi* and salt lake bittern are given in Table 17.8.
