At Agnigundala, the old workings are spread over a linear belt of more than two miles and there were rock dumps, ore dumps, pounding stones, washing tanks, tailing dumps, smelting furnaces, crucibles or cupolas and evidences for excavation of copper and lead. (Ziauddin, 1961)
