To the above list of techniques as given by Raj and Sundaram (1990: 27) we would like to add the suggestion for the various categories of analytical electron microscopy (diffraction, transmission and scanning) techniques such as Convergent beam diffraction (CBD), Electron energy loss spectroscopy using plasmon peaks (EELS-PL), High resolution electron microscopy-lattice imaging (HREM), Energy-dispersive X-ray micro-analysis (EDAX) etc.
