भस्त्र इति एवम् आदिभ्यः तृतिया समर्थेभ्यः हरतीत्येतस्मिन्नर्थे ष्ठन्प्रत्ययो भवति। (4.4.16) *bhastra iti evam ādibhyaḥ tṛtiyāsamarthebhyaḥ haratityetasminnarthe ṣṭhanpratyayo bhavati* *Śvan + Bhastrā = Śvābhastri* “ज्व, आदेः इञि” (7.3.8) *jva, ādeḥ iñi* *Śvābhastri* means something made of dog leather. *Bahubhastrika* means a furnace with many leather bellows (?)
