By choosing the values of m, n and p suitably, the values of all the dimensions of the isosceles trapezium can be made integral. Thus, starting with the rectangle (5, 12, 13) and taking p=6, Pṛthûdakasvâmî finds, by way of illustration, the isosceles trapezium whose flank sides = 13, base = 14, and face = 4. Its altitude (12), segments of base (5, 9), diagonals (15) and area (108) are also integers.
