This also is a part of Samhiā branch. There is a very ancient work named Narapatijayacaryā on the subject, in Vikrama Samvat 1232 (i.e. Śaka 1097). NARAPATI wrote this work at Anhil-Paṭṭan. Narapati seems to have been a Jain. His father ĀMRADEVA, was a very learned man and a resident of DHARĀ. This book mainly deals with good or evil results affecting kings corresponding to a 'svara' (breath). The author has stated the number of verses in it to be 4500. This work appears to have been known also as Svarodaya and Sārodhāra. The works consulted by the author have been enumerated, thus in the beginning.
