A decoction of the roots of colocynth, *anantamula*, *sárivá* and *Hedyotis biflora* (*parpaṭa*), prepared in the usual way, is administered with the addition of powdered long pepper and bdellium in chronic skin diseases, syphilis, elephantiasis, loss of sensation and hemiplegia.²
