CINNAMOMUM ZEYLANICUM, *Breyn.* Sans. गुडत्वक्, *Guḍatvak.* Cinnamon is largely used as an aromatic adjunct in compound prescriptions. A combination of cinnamon, cardamoms and tejapatra leaves, passes by the name of trijátaka, these three aromatics being often used together.
