HIBISCUS MOSCHATUS. Sans. लताकस्तुरिका *Latá-kasturiká*, Vern. *Latàkasturi* Beng. The scented seeds of this plant are much used in perfuming medicinal oils. They also enter into the composition of some compound prescriptions, being regarded as cooling, tonic and carminative.
