1. The two Tübingen University MSS., M. a. I. 458 and 459 (Cat., Nos. 141, 142). They come from Benares, whence they were procured by myself for the late Professor von Roth in 1873. The original MS. from which No. 142 was copied is dated in *saṃvat* 1778, i. e. 1721 A. D.
