In the following table (A 1·2) an asterisk * indicates that there is a discrepancy between Jai Singh's values and those in Baily's version of Ulugh Beg's Catalogue (*Memoirs of the Royal Astronomical Society*, 1843). In the case of the longitudes, any difference noted is between Jai Singh's figures and Baily's with 4° 8' added, this being the amount of precession that had accumulated between the periods of the two catalogues (see page 8).
