Of the colleges with masjids built by Fīrūz Shāh, one was *near the tomb of Fatḥ Khān*, known as the Qadam Sharīf,² with an adjacent masjid and a reservoir to perpetuate the memory of Fatḥ, the son and heir-apparent of the Sulṭān, who died in 1374.³
