In his *Khurshīd-Jahān-Numāh*, Ilāhī Bakhsh-al-Ḥusainī mentions a madrasah in Ghūrāshāhīd, a quarter in Gour, in the neighbourhood of the residence of Ghulām Ḥusain, the well-known author of the *Riyāzul-Salāṭīn*.² An inscription ascribed to the madrasah mentions the founder as Ḥusain Shāh.³
