Cakrapāṇi’s comments on Ci.30.127cd–132 are interesting. He justifies his remarks by saying that, although the genuineness of Ci.30.128cd–132 is disputed, these verses are accepted by the Kāśmīras and others. Jejjata gives even more information, stating that Ci.30.128cd–132, read by the Kāśmīras and Saindhavas, repeat what has already been discussed elsewhere; he concludes that the verses are to be rejected and that Dṛḍhabala’s text should be adhered to.
