Ḍalhaṇa refers to a commentator (ṭīkākāra) Amitaprabha, who may be the author of the Carakanyāsa.¹¹ Amitaprabha/Amṛtaprabha is among the sources of Candraṭa’s Yogaratnasamuccaya. Gopāladāsa quotes him in his Cikitsāmṛta. An Amita- or Amṛtaprabhīya is cited in the Bhesajjamañjūsāsannaya.
