The doṣas should be eliminated in the stage of accumulation in order to prevent that the next steps of the process are reached (21.37). A partially excited doṣa may get more excited when it comes in contact with a (completely) excited one (21.38).²³⁵ The most excited one of a combination of doṣas should be counteracted first (21.39).
