One of the few Indian scholars who studied part of the differences between Saṃgraha and Hṛdaya more accurately and reliably in order two establish that two Vāgbhaṭas have to be distinguished was Jyotiṣacandra Sarasvatī. This author examined a number of passages from the Śārīrasthānas of Saṃgraha and Hṛdaya.
