The introductory verses of the Āyurvedarasāyana, written after the Caturvargacintāmaṇi, 244 inform us that Hemādri was at that time in charge of the state records 245 of Mahādeva’s successor, Rāmacandra 246 (1271–1309). 247 The Ṭhāṇā plate of Rāmacandra, dated A.D. 1272, recording the grant of a village to a group of brāhmaṇas, makes mention of Hemādri in the same sense, namely as the foremost minister and as the one in charge of the state records. 248
