CANDRANANDANA¹²⁴ was the author of the PADĀRTHACANDRIKĀ, a commentary on the whole of the Aṣṭāngahṛdayasaṃhitā. He also wrote the Madanādinighaṇṭu, and, according to some, a collection of glosses (vṛtti) on the Aṣṭāngahṛdaya.¹²⁵
