This evidence shows that the Mādhavanidāna may quote the Saṃgraha. The fact that Mādhava used the Hṛdaya rather extensively in the composition of his work suggests that he was acquainted with the Saṃgraha as well. The alternative, i.e., the supposition that the Saṃgraha was not well known or even unknown in Mādhava’s time, is improbable.
