His opinion on the taste of pitta and kapha, when in a vidagdha state, is quoted (Sū.20.18),³⁵³ after Kapilabala’s view on the tastes of doṣas which have increased. Suśruta’s opinion as referred to is in conformity with the Suśrutasaṃhitā (Sū.21.11 and 15).
