v2.c29.148
248 Kaviratna: dark spots on the face. Mentioned as a pittavikāra at Ca.Sū.20.14, as a disease caused by raktadoṣa at Ca.Sū.28.12. Cf. Su.Ni.13.47ab. The presence of tilaka, piplu, vyaṅga and nīlikā among the local swellings is remarkable, because oedema is not one of their characteristics.
