v2.c29.154

262 The eight varieties of mūtrāghāta are caused by vāta, pitta, kapha, sannipāta, aśmarī, śarkarā, śukra and blood. These disorders are not described in the Carakasamhitā as mūtrāghāta, but as mūtraṛcchra (Ca.Ci.26.32–44; see Cakra's comments), which is rather confusing. The group of disorders called mūtrāghāta in other treatises is dealt with as the group of mūtradoṣas in the Siddhishāna (9.25–49ab); this group is omitted in Ca.Sū.19.
