133 R.K. Sharma and Bhagwan Dash (1976: XLI) regard the three theories as original contributions of Cakrapāṇidatta, which is very improbable since he refers to earlier authorities on this subject. The comments of Jejjata on Ca.Ci.15.16 have, unfortunately, not been preserved.
