A number of Niścala’s quotations from and references to Mādhava(kara) that do not name a particular treatise 205 impress as being from the *Yogavyākhyā*, on account of their style and contents. The work they comment on is the *Carakasaṃhitā*. 206 Mādhava(kara) is repeatedly said to follow Jejjata’s views; 207 Govardhana is an author who often agrees with him.
