The Aśvinikumārasaṃhitā is quoted in Candraṭa’s Yogaratnasamuccaya, Gopāladāsa’s Cikitsāmṛta, Trimalla’s Yogatarangiṇī,²⁶ and in the Yogaratnākara.²⁷ Cakrapāṇidatta borrowed from it according to Niścala.²⁸ The Aśvinikumāramata is referred to by Kāśīrāma in his commentary on the Śārṅgadharasaṃhitā;²⁹ the Aśvinīmata is one of the sources of Basava’s Śivatattvaratnākara and the Bheṣajakalpasārasaṃgraha. The Aśvinīsaṃhitā is quoted in the Bheṣajamañjūsāsannaya, by Niścala³⁰ and by Bhāvamiśra.³¹ The Āśvineya is quoted in Anantakumāra’s Yogaratnasamuccaya,³² Datta-rāma’s Bṛdhrasarājasundara,³³ Trimalla’s Bṛhadyogatarangiṇī,³⁴ and the Vaidyacintāmaṇi;³⁵ it is referred to in the Ratnākarauṣadhagrantha and Revaṇasiddha’s Virabhāṭṭīya. An Aśvinasaṃhitā is quoted in Anantakumāra’s Yogaratnasamuccaya,³⁶ by Bhāvamiśra,³⁷ Candraṭa,³⁸ Soḍhala, and Śrīdāsapaṇḍita.³⁹ Recipes from the Aśvinasaṃhitā occur in Gaṇeśaśarman’s Pākapradīpa,⁴⁰ Soḍhala’s Gadanigraha,⁴¹ the Vaidyacintāmaṇi,⁴² Vaṅgasena’s Cikitsāsaṃgraha,⁴³ and the Yogaratnākara.⁴⁴ An Aśvinā was one of the sources of the Basavarājīya, Jvaracikitsā,⁴⁵ and Jvarasamuccaya,⁴⁶ an Aśvinīya of the Basavarājīya, an Aśvinīya of Anantakumāra’s Yogaratnasamuccaya,⁴⁷ an Aśvinā- and Aśvinīyasaṃhitā of Candraṭa’s Yogaratnasamuccaya. Formulae from an Aśvinikalpa occur in the Basavarājīya and Vallabhendra’s Vaidyacintāmaṇi. The Kumārasaṃhitā, quoted in Anantakumāra’s Yogaratnasamuccaya, appears to be the same as the Aśvinikumārasaṃhitā.⁴⁸ A Kumārasaṃhitā, probably also identical with the Aśvinikumārasaṃhitā, is quoted in the Bheṣajamañjūsāsannaya. A work by the Aśvins is mentioned as a source by Harṣakīrti.
