Avadhānasarasvatī,²⁰ of Atri- or Ātreyagotra, a resident of Makṣikāranya in Tuṇḍīramaṇḍala,²¹ son-in-law of Kāmeśanātha who was the son of Ekāmranātha,²² and father of Veṅkaṭeśa,²³ wrote (1) the *Praśastauṣadhasaṃgraha*²⁴ and (2) a (Vaidya)śataślokī.²⁵
