*Contents* The *Śīsurakṣaratna* is a treatise on kaumārabhṛtya in three chapters (prakāśa): (1) garbhiṇīgarbharakṣānirūpaṇa, on prenatal care, especially on rituals to be observed during each month of pregnancy; (2) bālarakṣānirūpaṇa, chiefly on bālagrahas and the contrivances for averting their attacks; (3) vaidyakoktauṣadhādinirūpaṇa, on children's diseases and their treatment.
