Nāganātha⁵³⁵ was the author of the Nidānapradīpa,⁵³⁶ a rather extensive textbook of pathology (nidāna), written in ślokas.⁵³⁷ Though sometimes regarded as a commentary on the Mādhavanidāna,⁵³⁸ it is an independent treatise.
