The *Yogaratnasamuccaya* is for the greater part a compilation from the works of predecessors, but verses that were probably composed by the author are not rare; versified passages from sources in prose are also found and even indicated as such.³⁰ Numerous borrowings are said to derive from some unspecified treatise (*tantrāntara*).
