The style and terminology of the Bhūtiprakaraṇa of the Gorakṣasaṃhitā are distinctive, although in some respects reminiscent of the Rasopaniṣad.⁴¹ Mercury is very often referred to as śarvaja⁴² and sūtaka, gold as māṭar⁴³ or māṭṛkā,⁴⁴ copper as aravinda,⁴⁵ etc.
